Rentoid Rules
Once you read and accept these terms. You can list & rent items.
1. Legal
We don’t do anything illegal. We ask you do the same. You are solely responsible for the legality of your activities, even if they are on our site. If you do something illegal, well, we might just have to boot you off.
2. Fees and Services
Joining and listing items on Rentoid is free. When someone rents an item we take 5% of the price. For example if something is listed for $10, we take 50c. We do not charge you until you have reached a rental agreement with someone. This amount will be charged to your nominated credit card or paypal (coming soon) account at that time.
3. Listing items
You are obligated to complete the transaction with the renter once an agreement is reached. If you do something sneaky or dishonest karma will haunt you, people will rate you badly and we'll cancel your membership.
4. Item Care
You should take care of other people's items. It's also a good idea to return the item on time. Act nice, play nice.
5. Rentoid Service
Rentoid is not involved in any of the renting transactions. We simply connect people. We cannot be responsible for contract performance. We also have no liability resulting from any actions or transactions between any contracting parties on Rentoid.
6. Feedback
We don't have a feedback or ratings system yet. But we will soon. Stay tuned.
7. Liability
Rentoid cannot be held liable for any non performance of contract or anything sneaky that transacting parties might try or do. We also are not responsible loss or damages related to the connection to our site.
8. Other rules
- No bombs
- No running in the hallway
- No spitting
- Don't feed the Mogwai after midnight
