1. Can I buy things on rentoid?
   No. Rentoid is all about renting, not selling. We just connect owners of stuff with renters of stuff.
2. How do I know I have rented something?
   Once you’ve agreed to rent something, we’ll contact the owner of the item for you. Will give them your details, and they will contact you to organise the rest.
   
3. Who pays for the service?
   The owner of the item. They are charged 5% of the rental charge, once a rental agreement has been made. But you’ll have to pay the owner for the stuff that you rent.
   
4. Do I have to list my items to be able to rent out things from other people?
   No, you can choose to rent, list or both
   
5. Do I need to live near the owner / renter item?
   That's up to you. If you want to travel 300 miles for someone's hairdryer, who are we to stop you? For smaller items like books, cutlery or hair pieces, the owner may choose to send them to you by post.
   
6. What if I can’t find what I am looking for?
   List it in the Stuff people Want page, so that other rentoid members know what you are looking for. And be sure to tell your friends about rentoid. The more members, the more items available, the bigger the community, and the better the service.

Questions for Renters: People who have listed their items to rent out to other people.

1. Can I buy things on rentoid?
   No. Rentoid is all about renting, not selling. We just connect owners of stuff with renters of stuff.
   
2. What items can I list?
   You can list anything that you are comfortable renting out.
   
3. How do I know I will get my things back in good condition?
   We can't guarantee that nothing bad happens to your item when you rent it out. We can recommend a few things to ensure it comes back in one piece: - Only rent items that you’re comfortable to take the risk on. - Make sure you set a bond that the renter pays you upfront before you rent it out.
   
4. Does it cost anything to list my items?
   Not a cent. It is free to list as many things as you like. You only pay rentoid once we've matched you with someone who wants to rent your goods.
   
5. OK. So when do I get charged for the service?
   You, the owner, will be charged 5% of the rental amount, once a rental agreement has been made. Payment is made by credit card.
   
6. How much should I make the bond?
   That's a tough one. Enough to ensure that the renter looks after your stuff. But don’t make the bond too much, or else you’ll turn the renter off renting from you.
   
7. Does the bond have to be cash?
   No. You might want to take the renter's passport or driver's licence if you are renting out something that's expensive.
   
8. What forms of payment do you accept?
   We accept Mastercard, Visa and PayPal is coming soon.
   
9. Do I need to live near the owner / renter item?
   That's up to you. If you want to travel 300 miles to rent out your ugg boots, who are we to stop you? For smaller items like books, CDs or novelty ties, you might be better off sending it in the post. We recommend that you use registered mail.
   
10. Can I rent my Hummer on Rentoid?
    Absolutely not. Hummers aren't welcome here. Buy yourself a hybrid and rent it out instead.
